Mhmmmm meant to convey feeling of the "starve" when one's mind and mouth are yearning for that which is elusive... Temptation too weak a word ... Good critique thanks!
I would now change first line toTantalization

Good one, especially when I substitute "tantalization." There's a lot of emotion packed into that situation, most of it painful.
This is brilliant - there is more than one kind of starvation.
