One of two hundred?
I think not
Rather One
who opened with a golden key
the door to a street cobble stoned with winding words
petaled with soft chestnut blossoms falling
as poets met and
listened
to
the
words
of
one
and one another

Congratulations RLB – for many who began sharing on the original Street- you will always stand alone in a special place, on a mystical endless winding lyrical road…
Pearl, this is perfect:) I agree that RLB reintroduced me to poetry and allowed us to pursue our own paths on the Street!
ReplyDeleteDid you see some of the other people on this list? Interesting I think
All right. "Uncle" she cried. And ditto to the lionmother's comment. I applaud RLB's name on the list as well.
ReplyDeleteHaha Sharon... Awww hope that you didn't feel pressured in any way. I was serious what I wrote about "lists" and about the company that RLB found himself in ... my soft spot is as I wrote - that I there was a wonderful sense of poetry and comraderie in that original Street that will always hold a warm spot in my heart - :)
