In the fairied time of Nebulous
A mother cut with vision opaque bleak
stared out over the hover of mist
beyond the slab of concreted future
and from the crush of her cut heart
felt the gossamer touch of wings
brush her tear creased cheek and the sudden
blazing torch of hope in the filamented
timing of sudden sunny certainty
lit the ribboned verdant field to
Possibility
the tinkle of fairy breath
chiming in laughter
bubbling from just the
other room
Ignorance is painful
