Origamied

Happy Birthday To The Magical  Wordle :)

Oh shimmy origami dragon off the edge of that disheveled shelved wall- fall filamented, rise ethereal, wavering wonder in the dappled light, you much maligned misbegotten, misunderstood - now delight filled dragon swallowing exquisite acute and abstract aches all - until - coda peace flows as the sweet smoky flame of your spangling shimmered smile silencing the would- be cacophony of dreams’ ferment.

  1. I, too, would like to see an origami dragon shimmy. That would be a wondrous sight indeed! Alas, as you point out, most dragons are maligned, misbegotten and misunderstood. :(

    1. It wasn't always that way. China's first emperor was a dragon turned man. That's why the reverence for the beast in China. Sad, we have no such dreams now.

  8. I love the stream of consciousness flow and alliteration here Pearl - it's magical ...

(one quibble that I hesitate to mention but figure I know you well enough to ask: should "dishelveled" read as it stands or is it a typo? I thought it more likely you meant either "dishevelled" or "dishelved" - the latter still being a bastardization spelling but could be used in a poem to go along with shelved ...or, I could be completely off-base and you meant what you meant in the first place ...)

mine is here: feel free to have at it!

  9. Ah, Pearl, I wish I had time each day to pause here. I could re-energize just by reading your offering of the day. You can string words together in such a way that takes the reader on a solo flight with imagination.

    Excellent one, as always.
